James C. Floyd

James Charles Floyd is a Canadian aerospace engineer, born in Manchester, England. Floyd was the Avro Aircraft Ltd. chief design engineer. His ensuing involvement, ultimately as vicepresident , in the design and development of the Avro Jetliner, CF100 and CF105 Arrow aircraft designs, over a period which is viewed by many as the Golden Age of the Canadian aviation industry.
